The Sandringham Estate Caravan Club Site,
15th - 17th April

The Pier at Cromer.

The Sandringham Estate Caravan Club Site is lovely, giving the sense of being in parkland; all green, beautiful trees but open enough to let the sun through. Very peaceful.

Yet another challenge, though. The lights on the trailer were not working correctly. Before moving into France it was important that this fault was diagnosed and fixed. We needed a motorhome engineer with electrical knowledge. With campsite reception’s help, we were able to call a mobile motorhome engineer who could visit the site on the final morning of our stay. The relay was at fault, under Bixie, requiring our engineer to travel across town to find a replacement. Our checkout time was 12 noon and time was marching on. Fortunatley for us, the party expecting to occupy our pitch had already phoned the site to say they would be late, so difficulty in that regard was averted. The fix was completed by 1pm and we were off towards Folkestone.
